Photograms
A photogram is an image made without a camera. The image is made by placing objects onto the surface of a light-sensitive photo paper and then exposing it to light. When the developed, using photo chemicals, a negative shadow image is created. The variation in value depends on the objects that were used. Areas of the paper that have been blocked by opaque objects remain white. Areas that have been covered by translucent material show up in shades of grey. Paper that has been left uncovered, or exposed, will turn black.
